Our award-winning services cover all aspects of aged care needs for people wanting to remain in the comfort of their own home.

We understand that sometimes people don’t know what level of care they need. We can help you at every step along the way. All the care we provide is planned in consultation with our clients and their families. We work together with GPs and other specialists to ensure that every need is met and taken care of.

We have teams of Registered, Enrolled and Assistant Nurses available as well as an array of carers and companions all handpicked to suit your needs.

Registered Nurses

These are our most qualified staff. These nurses will have at least three years of training and will be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. These nurses will normally be needed when there is a high level of clinical care required. Some indications of this would be:

  • Clinical observations
  • Daily injections
  • Assistance with a colostomy
  • Radiation/Chemotherapy
  • A catheter that may need irrigating
  • Changes of sterile dressings
  • Tracheotomy that requires suctioning
  • Requirement for oxygen at home
  • Administer medications
  • Pre- and post-surgical care
  • Palliative care
  • Diabetic care
  • Rehabilitation therapy
  • Incontinence care
  • Geriatric assessment
  • Pain management
  • Dementia care
  • Rehabilitation therapy
  • Creating care plans

Enrolled Nurses

This type of nurse is also registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and has completed a one year course. Enrolled nurses can perform the following duties:

  • Clinical observations
  • Intermittent oxygen administration
  • Pressure area care
  • Bowel care
  • Basic medication administration
  • Assistance with daily living activities

Assistant Nurses

Many of our staff have completed the Assistant in Nursing Certificate (AIN). Assistant nurses are also known as carers and they can assist clients with the following:

  • Personal care – bathing, showering, dressing, mobility assistance
  • Assisting with meals and meal preparation
  • Assisting with light household duties, such as, shopping and laundry
  • Helping clients in and out of bed
  • Helping clients to the bathroom
  • Assisting with mobility
  • Clinical management of every level of care including dementia care, palliative care and respite care
  • Sourcing and providing equipment
  • Health assessments, creating care plans and plan management
